The Enterprising Potter making lovely things and unique gifts

Eyup! It’s Ade, or as he’ll now be known round these parts, The Enterprising Potter. Ade, along with his cofounder Becky, started @thechurchfarmcraftcompany where they specialise in nano batch spirits. During lockdown, they diversified their business by venturing into candle making, now proudly supplying candles for @chatsworthofficial alongside their own brand.

What sparked our interest in ceramics?

Recently, Ade and Becky decided to expand their business portfolio by adding ceramics to the mix. The duo found themselves drawn to the art of pottery, sparking a newfound passion for creating unique ceramic pieces. Ade has even started crafting stoneware bottles for their core gin, while their candles are finding new homes in ceramic pots handmade by Ade himself.

How has the transition been?

The transition into ceramics has been a natural progression for Ade and Becky. With Ade's dedication to mastering the craft of pottery and Becky's artistic talents as an illustrator, the duo has found a perfect balance in their new venture. The handmade touch adds a special element to their products, setting them apart in the market.

What sets our ceramics apart?

What sets Ade and Becky's ceramics apart is the personal touch and attention to detail in each piece. Ade's stoneware bottles and ceramic pots not only serve a functional purpose but also double as unique works of art. The handmade quality adds a sense of authenticity and craftsmanship that resonates with their customers.

Becky's illustrations further enhance the beauty of their ceramic pieces, creating a cohesive and visually appealing product line. The combination of Ade's pottery skills and Becky's artistic flair has truly elevated their brand to new heights.

We will have a new range of unique pottery encased hand poured scented candles, made by us on our Farm available from the 1st October. If you want to buy the Chatsworth range we exclusively make for them please visit our shop on our Farm as these will not be available to buy online.
